Thanks for the free therapy share. Hannah is the GOAT. If you ever want to be a guest writer for a SLOforhome.org newsletter, I am sure they would love it (I help with the newsletter distribution). Hope to see you Saturday - thanks for the heads up!
I’m grateful to read this. Grateful for mental health suggestions. Grateful for folks who refuse to normalize our current America. And grateful to see you on the streets on Saturday.
This is so poignant right now and I appreciate greatly you being candid and truthful. I’m right here with you. I feel lost because I’ve been trying to do said things for quite sometime but don’t feel like it’s working. Perhaps due to of a lack of community around these feelings. It seems like everyone around me just wants to check out and not engage or doesn’t want to make waves, or do anything “radical”, or speak up with an opinion at all. I’m at empathy fatigue and can no longer give the level of energy needed for such a sustained period of time alone. So just know you are not alone. Some of us are out here in no mans land with you 🫶🏼
I appreciate your perspective, and like you, I often feel alone. But this is exactly what I hoped would happen when I posted: we aren’t alone anymore. We aren’t crazy. This is real, and it’s wrong, and something has to be done.
There is comfort in mutual commiserating. However, we cannot sit idly by so let’s hit the streets Saturday to do our small part of protesting. So happy to know my young neighbor and so amazed by all of her talents!
Thank you for this. I’ve been off social media lately for this exact reason, especially because of being a highly sensitive person. Thankful to have heard through this post about the protest this Saturday. Hope to see you there 🙏
Hey Jamie! Wanted to let you know that the next big action will be a "Families First (Not Billionaires)" rally at the courthouse that's being coordinated by unions for 7/26 10 am-12 pm. RSVP here: https://mobilize.us/s/TUucrR
I’ve felt overwhelmed by the news lately as well. Dan’s been on edge since November. I very much limit my time with it. I’m glad you’re getting help and support. Be safe at the protest Saturday. 🙏💖🙏
I read Psalms 121 this morning. In fact, my Bible study book told me to sing it, making up my own tune. These promises are what keeps me grounded and moving forward.

The neighborhood is the answer, or at least part of it! I’m convinced.
